PURSE TAGGED

I was purse tagged by Ashlee a few weeks ago and I just haven't gotten around to doing this one. Mainly because anyone he has gone through my purse knows that it is not easy to find things and I needed to clean it out. I remember Ang trying to find something in my purse once and she couldn't find it and she said, "wow you have a lot of papers in here." What I really need is to get a bigger purse that can hold diapers and wipes too. Anyway this is a fun tag. I had my planner, three phone directories (dance, school, and ward) it just seems like I am always in the car and on the go and I always have those with me in case I need to get a hold of someone for something. A vitamin c thing I put in water (thanks Kylene), 3 lip gloss containers, a tampon, bayer, a small bird for someone to play with if we need it. My wallet that is way too full, mascara, a thumb drive that has my pictures on it and lots of random papers with things that I need to go do.
I am tagging any of my friends who haven't done this one yet! It is a great way to clean out your purse.

CHICK FIL A

A common outing for us is to go to chick fil a for lunch. I love going there because the food is so much better than mcdonald's and the play place is enclosed so you don't worry about someone taking off with your child as much. Last week the kids and I met Angie and Kerri and their darling kids there for lunch. We had a great time and so did the kids. I think it is so fun that our babies are all so close in age. They will all be in the same grade. The picture of Beckham standing up is exactly how he is. He will never sit in his chair he always has to be climbing or trying to climb out of where he is and always on the go. Bryns and Stock had so much fun with Cooper and Maddie. The kids haven't seen Cooper in awhile and Stock and him had so much fun together. They kept saying, "come on buddy." Thanks for a fun lunch girls!

A FUN DAY AT THE DENTIST

Last week Brynlee got her first two cavities filled. Right when I walked up to the desk to check in Beckham started throwing up everywhere and it just kept coming for like 5 minutes. The receptionists were so nice and helped me clean up the mess and made me feel like it was no big deal. I told them that I would re-schedule and they were so funny. They just kept saying this happens all of the time don't worry about it. Beckham and I had throw up all over us but I figured if I was already there I might as well get if over with. It was so funny though because two of the dental hygentists were former students of mine at Bingham. One of them was on my drill team and the other one was in my aerobics class. It is always fun to see people you haven't seen forever and be covered in throw up. Oh well that is just how it goes when you are a mom.
Bryns asked me several times if it would hurt and I just told her that it would tickle. I felt bad telling her that but if I told her how much I hate the shots she wouldn't want to go. She was such a trooper and was so brave. She has been so good about brushing and flossing her teeth on her own since the dentist. She is so funny because she has put herself in charge of Stockton's teeth now too. She is such a sweet little helper with her brothers.

TAGGED

I was tagged by Angie and Suzi on this one and I am just barely getting around to doing it. Thanks guys!!

TEN YEARS AGO I WAS: I think I was living in a condo in Orem with Kerri, Kathy, Nic at night, Brooklyn and Missy. Then it was the next semester that we moved to Provo with Angie and Kerri. Anyway this was such a great time in my life. Living the college life with great roommates who have become life long friends. Staying up late talking and laughing, sharing clothes, doing each others makeup, waiting for missionares (that we didn't marry but swore that we would) etc. I have to say I have such sweet fun memeories of this time in my life and I am so thankful that I met these wonderful girls.

FIVE PLACES I HAVE LIVED: Sandy until 9th grade. South Jordan until I was married at age 21. In college I lived in Provo and Orem. Then once I was married we lived in Provo, Lehi, South Jordan and Las Vegas.

THINGS ON MY TO DO LIST: Print off a picture of my grandma and the great grand kids for her birthday. Read a book for my class for my masters degree. Finish re-reading Standing for Something. Go and get a new drivers license. Re-new my car registration. Finish de-junking and organizing the kids and my room.

THREE BAD HABITS: 1) I have already said this before on another tag but picking my split ends. Horrible habit don't ever start doing this it is very addicting. Thanks Suzi.
2) Not looking in my blind spot or looking well enough when I back out in my car. I got in a wreck two weeks ago from this. I am really trying to do better :).
3) Thinking that everyone has the same thought process as me on issues of morality, relationships, honesty, friendship etc. I am trying to be more loving, open minded and accepting of people's different realities and ideas and beliefs. Man this hard for me.

I will add another one: I keep taking Bryns to the bus stop in my robe and big boots. Then she wants me to get out and walk her to the bus and everyone leaving for work in my neighborhood get to see me in my robe with my boots, with my hair standing on end. It is embarassing to me but obviously not enough for me to do anything about it. The other day I wore sweats to drop her off and Bryns said, "mom it is so good that you are dressed today."

FIVE THINGS YOU DON'T KNOW ABOUT ME:
1) I love to go out to eat and go to a movie. This is and I think always will be my favorite thing to do on a date.
2) I love to roller skate and roller blade. I haven't done this forever but I really love doing it! I also love wake boarding! I'm not good but I just absolutely love it!!
3) If I am really tired I will just sleep in my clothes. I don't care about certain types of pillows, thread count on sheets etc. I am just happy to be able to sleep and get some rest. Some of my friends think this is so funny because they are so particular about all of these things. My roommates have pictures of me in college asleep in my clothes. They used to say I would wake up looking exactly the same. I don't think this is true.
4) I love to read and continue learning. I really do believe that the Glory of God is intelligence! I love having conversations with people about deep meaningful topics.
5) I love to go hiking. I love being in the mountains and getting exercise there is no better way to get exercise!!

I am tagging and of my friends who have not done this tag!!
P.S. Ashlee I will do the purse tag this weekend!

MARCUS'S 23rd BIRTHDAY!

While we were in St. George we celebrated my brother Marcus's birthday. He is such a great brother and I am a very lucky sister to have him in my life. Whenever he walks in the door my kids act like it is Christmas day. He is a celebrity at our house. He is soooooo nice, funny, fun, amazing with kids, smart I could go on and on. He can be a little shy when it comes to asking girls out. If any of you know a cute girl to set him up with let me know. He is such a catch! Happy birthday Marcus! You are the best!

PRESIDENT'S DAY WEEKEND IN ST. GEORGE

This weekend we went to St. George for President's Day. The weather was so nice. One day it was 62. It is amazing to me how theraputic the weather can be. The kids played outside the whole time and we had so much fun. On Saturday morning my mom and I went to the St. George temple. It was so crowded. We waited for 40 minutes and still didn't get into a session. Finally we found a way to serve after an hour and a half. It is such an amazing temple! I love the spirit I feel in the temple. I wish I had that feeling of peace with me at all times.

The boys golfed most of the weekend while the girls and kids went shopping and to the park. The loved the park and they were so excited that the ice cream man came to the park. My parents own three lots right by Sand Hollow Resivoir so we went to check out the model homes there and we got to tour the golf course in golf carts. The kids were in heaven because they got to drive. I would love to move to St. George. I know that my kids and sister in law Heather are in. I love it there!!

VALENTINES DAY!!

I know that I always say this but aren't holidays so much fun with kids!!! Can you tell the kids are having fun opening their valentines and candy from their classes? Beckham was thrilled that both Bryns and Stocky were willing to share with him. Brynlee was so cute this year. She was so into the whole catching someone who rings the bell and runs. And also taking them to people and running. She caught both me and my mom today when we left the valentines for the kids on the door. She left me and the next door neighbor valentines that she had recieved at school today and rang the door bell and ran. (It's the first time I have ever heard of regifting valentines. Great idea bryns! That saves a lot of time. j/k) She was furious that when we dropped off Stockton's valentines to his friends he didn't run he just gave them to them. I had such a blast with the kids today!! Thanks Bryns, Stocky, and Becks! You three are the best! I am a very lucky mommy!!! I hope all of my friends and family had a happy valentines day! I love you all and I am so blessed to have you in my life!!!

BRYNLEE'S VALENTINE PARTY

When we woke up this morning after the crazy night with the freeway closing we found out that school was going to be pushed back by two hours. So Brynlee's school didn't start until 10:55 and it got out at 11:43. I was able to help with her valentine's party today and it was so much fun! I was in charge of the cookies that the kids decorated. All of Brynlee's friends kept saying Brynlee you and your mom look just the same. I take this as a compliment for me because Brynlee is such a pretty little girl! Brynlee was so glad that I was there and that made me so happy. It is so much fun to see her in her element having fun with her friends and teacher. She has a wonderful teacher named Miss Miles. Brynlee is so social and fun and it was so fun to be with her at her party today! I love you Bryns.

SNOW DAY AND NIGHT!!

After Brynlee's dance yesterday the freeway was so backed up and they actually closed the entire freeway. I had my class at BYU for my masters degree until 10:00 at night. So when I got done I had like 8 messages from my family telling me the freeway was closed. My dad was stuck on the frontage road for six hours. Ken was stuck on the freeway with the kids for five hours. The news said there were 60-70 mile an hour winds and it was a blizzard. It was crazy I don't remember anything like it. I was lucky that after my class I was able to go to my brother Trent's apartment and hang out until they opened the freeway. I got home just after 1:00 in the morning. I think one of Trent's roommates was worried that I might have to sleep over at their apartment and that would be breaking BYU rules. Luckily I was able to get home to sleep in my bed instead of on the couch. I a posting these pictures to show how much snow we have gotten this year. The roads this year have been covered with snow the whole year.

HANNAH MONTANA MOVIE

On friday Tai and I took Brynlee, Kelcie, and Kwincee to the Hannah Montan Movie. It was so funny because the 3-D glasses were too big for the girls faces. The girls had so much fun dancing and singing and running around the theatre. It was perfect because their were only a few other people there so they could really enjoy it. Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus are constantly on in our car at Brynlee's request. And I will admit that I really love the music too. I am always singing to it and Brynlee says, "mom are you singing?" I guess she thinks it's wierd that I like her music too! My camera batteries had died when I tried to get a picture. But we had a great time! Thanks for a fun time Tai.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANGIE!!

One of my best friends Angie turned 29 yesterday! Angie and I were roommates in college and we always had so much fun together. She was such a sweet roommate and was and still is always there for me. In those days she would get up in the morning to turn off my alarm when I wouldn't hear it (she had to walk all the way across the room to turn it off). She would always talk to me about boy troubles and we could always laugh and have fun. We also coached together at Mountain View when we were in college. These days we have had so much fun judging together, hanging out with our kids together and having girls nights out. She is still listening to all of my boy problems so I guess not much has changed. I love that Angie is not judgemental. I can tell her anything and she relates and really gets into what I am telling her. She is thoughtful, kind, and is always up for something fun! She is an amazing person and friend and I love her so much! Your the best Ang hope you had a happy birthday! You deserve it!

SAN DIEGO!!

My parents took the kids and I to San Diego. We have been promising the kids a trip to Sea World for months and so we decided to go this last weekend. We had so much fun. The kids were in heaven. Stockton said, "this is the best day of my life." They loved all of the shows. Both Brynlee and Stock said that there favorite part was feeding the dolphins fish and getting to pet them. They said they felt like rubber. It was so much fun. I haven't ever felt a dolphin before and it was a neat experience. We sat in the wet zone for all of the shows so we put ponchos on the kids. We got drenched at the Shamu show. The weather felt so good. It was nice to know that the sun really does exist. It was in the 50's but it felt wonderful! The second day we were there it was raining. So we went to the beach and the kids collected sea shells but we didn't dare do much more than that. We drove by the San Diego temple on the way home. That is such a beautiful temple! We had so much fun!! Thanks mom and dad for such a fun vacation!

LAS VEGAS

On our way to San Deigo we stopped to give the kids a break in Las Vegas. Josh and Heather were there for a furniture convention and so we got to see them for a little while. Then one of my good friends from Vegas happen to be on the strip and so they met up with us for lunch and then we went on a tour of the M&M factory. It was so good to see Dennett, Jackson, and Max we miss them so much. As we pulled into Vegas Brynlee got so excited and said, "mom I love it here. I like it here so much better than Utah." I think she really misses her friends who became our family when we didn't have any in Vegas. We had an amazing ward and amazing friends.
