The other day when it snowed my brother Marcus took the kids out to play in all of the fresh snow! They had a blast as they always do when they play with uncle Marcus. Beckham couldn't walk in his boots so he just crawled through the snow as fast as he could. It was so cute!!
Seeing these pictures of fresh snow makes me realize what we are in for in just six days! So sorry that we have not been able to hook up on the phone. What is wrong with us. It's like we each have three kids and one of us is moving out of state or something. Gees for the love! Anyways we are wishing you a very Merry Christmas. I know you love being near so much family and friends. It makes me feel better that you moved back knowing that you are being taken care of. This week will be CRAZY so I will try and call you as soon as possible after the BIG move. Love you all!!

Be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled, will disappear all too soon... and that you will, to your surprise, miss them, profoundly."
If I had my child to raise all over again, I'd build self-esteem first, and the house later. I'd finger paint more, and point the finger less. I would do less correcting and more connecting. I'd take my eyes off the watch, and watch with my eyes. I'd take more hikes and fly more kites. I'd stop playing serious, and seriously play. I would run through more fields and gaze at more stars. I'd do more hugging and less tugging.

WHY I BLOG
"You will have significant experiences. I hope that you will write them down and keep a record of them, that you will read them from time to time and refresh you memory of those meaningful and significant things. Some may be funny. Some may be significant only to you. Some of them may be sacred and quietly beautiful. Some may build one upon another until they represent a lifetime of special experience. Gordon B. Hinckley, 2006
